Moved by recent visit of Ohanaeze President General, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, to Lagos where he met Igbo stakeholders and market leaders to chart the way forward for Igbo, Ohanaeze chieftain and former deputy president, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos, Vitus Uzoh, has described the move as a strategic step that would help restore unity among Ndigbo in Lagos.
In a statement, Uzoh said the media mogul has the experience and expertise to lead the Igbo nation aright.
While commending Iwuanyanwu for the visit, which took the president general to Alaba International Market where some shops were recently demolished, Uzoh, who is also the chairman, Board of Trustees of Odunade Building Materials Dealers Association Coker, Lagos, said the president general’s visit was part of his desire to carry Ndigbo along as well as promotes long-lasting peace between Ndigbo and their host community in Lagos.
Uzoh urged Ndigbo to continue to be law-abiding in all their pursuits, adding that under the leadership of Iwuanyanwu as president, Ndigbo will witness socio cultural reintegration which will results in peaceful and conducive business environment for all.
