The Action Alliance (AA) has elected Hon. Miller Chinemike Ogwuas the National Secretary of the party.
Ogwas emerged at the elective national convention of the party held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta.
Other contestants for the position of the party’s national secretary including Ambassador Suleiman withdrew from the race, making Ogwas to emerge unopposed.
The chairman of the electoral committee, Hon Sunday Oladele who declared Ogwas winner of the election said the party chose option A4 to ensure transparency in the election.
Oladele said the election that produced all the leaders of the party was free and fair and charged all the new leaders of the party to uphold the constitution of the party.
In an interview, the new national secretary of the party, Hon Ogwas promised to work hand in hand with other national executives of the party, saying that the national chairman of the party, Hon Adekunle Rufai Omoaje has assured of efficient leadership and he would support him to achieve his aim.
He said the party will leave no stone unturned at ensuring that democracy has its root in the country, even as he assured of his commitment to building a virile and progressive Action Alliance.
