Ogunjobi for burial March 15

The remains of former secretary general of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi will be committed to earth on March 15, according to a release from the family.

In a statement by the personal assistant of the deceased chairman of the Osun State Football Association, Tunde Shamsudeen, the final home journey will start on Tuesday March 12 with football matches at the Osogbo Stadium followed by his citation, tributes, photo parades and prayer for the family, while the train moves to the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan for South West Football Associations Symposium.

On Thursday March 14, at the same Lekan Salami Stadium, there would be novelty football matches, while his body lye in state, as well as the launch of a foundation in memory of late Ogunjobi, followed by service of songs and wake keep.

The programme would be rounded off on Friday March 15, with a commendation church service and a private internment, followed by reception later in the day.
