Ogun youth assembly names ex-guber candidate as innovation adviser

The Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Ogun State Chapter, has announced the appointment of a data expert and former gubernatorial candidate in the state, Prince Adewale Omoniyi as Adviser on Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Youth Empowerment.

Clerk, YAN Ogun State, Ayomide Gbadegeshin made the announcement in a statement sent to Daily Sun on Friday.

According to the statement, Omoniyi’s appointment comes in recognition of his distinguished leadership, unwavering commitment to youth development, innovation, entrepreneurship and his remarkable contributions to Ogun State and the nation.

“As Adviser, Prince Omoniyi Adewale will serve as a pillar of guidance, inspiration, and support for the Assembly as we continue to be more innovative, entrepreneurial and empower the youth of Ogun State and Nigeria at large.

“We warmly congratulate him on this well-deserved honor and look forward to a fruitful and impactful partnership under his advisory guidance,” the statement reads.
