The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun West Senatorial District has passed a vote of confidence in the State Chairman of the party, Dr. Abayomi Tella, reaffirming its trust in his leadership and commitment to the growth and unity of the party.
The resolution was reached during the Ogun West Senatorial District meeting held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, under the leadership of Elder Sunday Soledolu, the Senetorial Chairman Ogun West.

The meeting was attended by all zonal officers, members of the Southwest State Working Committee from Ogun West, as well as the chairmen of the five local government chapters within the senatorial district.
Speaking at the meeting, party leaders and stakeholders commended Dr. Tella’s dedication, leadership qualities, and efforts toward strengthening the PDP across the state, noting that his administration has continued to promote cohesion and stability within the party.
As part of the gathering, members also held a special prayer session, seeking divine guidance, wisdom, protection, and success for the state chairman throughout his tenure.
The party expressed confidence in Dr. Tella’s ability to lead effectively and achieve greater milestones, while reiterating its support for initiatives aimed at advancing the fortunes of the PDP and serving the interests of the people.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment by party leaders and members to work together in strengthening the party ahead of future political engagements.
