The National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) has commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his relentless efforts at developing infrastructure, particularly roads, across the state.

In a statement signed by the NAOSS National President, Lekan Olubodun, the association praised the governor’s unprecedented feat of commissioning a new road every week.

The body observed that the recent commissioning of the Imasayi/Igan-Okoto/Ayetoro road (Phase 2B) on Thursday was a testament to the governor’s commitment to improving the state’s infrastructure, both in the urban and rural centres.

He noted that the road connecting three towns in Yewa North Local Government Area, would boost commerce along the axis and enhance transportation of farm produce, and contribute to food security as well as agricultural growth in the state and country.

The association equally commended Governor Abiodun for his strides in the education sector, particularly in providing infrastructure, digital learning tools, and welfare for teachers.

According to NAOSS, the recent emergence of a teacher from the state as the best teacher in the country was a testament to the governor’s positive interventions in the education sector.

It reiterated its support for the administration’s efforts at repositioning the education sector and taking it to enviable heights.
