Ogah pays WASSCE fees for 507 indigent students

The member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Chinedu Ogah, has paid over N13m for 507 indigent students to enable them sit for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in the State.

The beneficiaries were drawn from public and private schools in the federal constituency .

The students expressed joy and gladness to God for using Ogah to ensure the payment of their 2024 WASSCE fees and sustainability of their academic pursuit.

Ogah who is the Chairman, House  Committee on Reformatory Institution said his foundation had been carrying out such gesture for Ebonyi youths for quite some time.

“This is not the first time we are doing such for our constituents. They voted for us and it is time for us to translate their votes into different types of empowerment. Empowerment in form education is simply the best and we will continue until we change the narrative in Ebonyi State,” he said.
