Odyssey Media House CIC has launched “A City in Frames,” a community arts project that empowers Bradford residents to document and share their stories through mobile photography.
Open to residents aged 13 and above, the initiative will feature free photography workshops, guided storytelling sessions and photographic walks led by local creatives. Participants will capture the people, places and everyday moments that shape their communities.
Selected photographs and footage will be curated into a public exhibition and a 15-minute documentary, alongside community conversations, artist talks and interactive storytelling events.
According to Odyssey Media House CIC CEO, Oluwadamilola Adetomiwa, the project seeks to allow residents to tell Bradford’s stories “in their own voice, through their own lens.”
Campaign Lead and Marketing & PR Director, Gbolajesu Amusa, said the initiative would help provide a lasting visual record of Bradford’s cultural diversity while encouraging creative participation and supporting local talent.
The project ultimately aims to create a collective visual archive that reflects Bradford’s identity and allows the people who live there to shape how their communities are seen, remembered and celebrated.
