The duo of Segun Odegbami and Samson Siasia would top the list of ex-internationals that are billed to grace this year’s annual Rangers International of Enugu convention holding early next month in Houston, United States of America (USA).
A patron of Rangers, Benson Ejindu (Ezeomeogo) who disclosed this to Daily Sunsports said Odegbami and Siasia have both confirmed they would be part of the event which is a gathering of former Rangers players now based in the United States.
Ejindu who is bankrolling the event said the Rangers USA convention is a forum where those who made the Enugu Flying Antelopes tick in the 70s and 80s come together to have fun.
“The convention is a forum where ex- Rangers who are based in the United States come together to catch fun and relive what happened in their heyday. We also invite former players of traditional clubs like Bendel Insurance, Shooting Stars and Enyimba. This year, Odegbami and Siasia would be our guests and they have both confirmed they are coming. The convention will hold this year in Houston on August 12,” Ejindu disclosed.
Ejindu who is a patron of Rangers expressed optimism that the club would end the current season on a good note in spite of her present poor run in the NPFL.
“It’s unfortunate Rangers is not doing well this term. However, I don’t see the club going on relegation. I m confident the team will still end the season on a good note,” Ejindu said.
