The second edition of the Och’idoma’s Unity Cup put together by Oyiche Sports Limited in conjunction with the Benue State Football Association has been slated for December 10.
The annual football tournament will hold at the Jesus College, Oturkpo, Benue State with the final holding on December 16.
According to one of the organisers, Chief Alex Ocheme based in Dallas, USA, the tournament is a yearly event to fostered and promot unity and progress through sport in the Zone.
“All arrangements are underway for the 2nd edition of the tournament, aimed at bringing together sports enthusiasts, Chief Ocheme said.
He added that the objective of the tournament is to engage young people constructively in productive community activities that will enhance their skills, social well-being, talent development, and their capacity to be active citizens of Nigeria through sports.
“We aim to inspire community members to foster unity and a sense of belonging,” through sporting activities. The tournament is open to all and is intended to unite football enthusiasts from all walks of life at one location,” he submitted.
