Oboh to Sanwo-Olu: Lagos too vital not to be kept clean

Oboh

The former Commonwealth and British boxing champion, Peter Idemudia Oboh, has pleaded with the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to ensure the refuse heaps on Oshodi-Apapa Expressway are cleared.

Describing the situation as worse than Ebola, the boxer turned-minister of God, said: “There is a very big issue of the Apapa Road that leads to the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway, all down to Mile 2 and straight to Ijesha in Lagos State, which to me is worse than Ebola for now. It is sad to say that the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway is so bad that it has been turned into a toilet, with human wastes littering both left and right. Also, people are dropping refuse on the road everyday.

The nagging question is: What are the drivers’ unions doing about the many motor boys and tanker drivers who contribute to the deliberate pollution of the area? To add insults to injuries, the road has become a refuse sight to many as well.”

Oboh stated further. “I have travelled all over the world, but I have not seen any sight as bad as what is happening on Oshodi-Apapa Expressway. Please, Mr. Governor, you must apply an iron fist to stop this disaster before your tenure ends in a few months time. Lagos is too vital not to be kept clean. Lagos must be kept clean by all means.

“All round, Nigeria is blessed. I can see everything turning around for our good. But quick actions are needed to expel the wicked ones among us over this evil and shameful activity inspired by a demonic mindset. My beloved Lagos city can be made clean for good.”
