As part of his unwavering commitment to implementing his administrative developmental initiative and people -oriented programs, the Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Council, Rivers State, Hon. Chief Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo, on Friday, January 7, 2025, officially signed  the 2025 Appropriation Bill, transforming it into law,  Njoku Macdonald Obinna , succinctly captured.

The budget estimate, which stood at a substantial sum of over twelve point four billion naira, was meticulously presented to the distinguished lawmakers a fortnight ago. Following a thorough examination that spanned several weeks, the lawmakers granted their unanimous approval to the budget estimates, endorsing its passage into law.
