Businessman Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has gifted Pastor Jerry Eze a house to mark the clergyman’s 44th birthday.
Iyiegbu announced the gesture on Saturday in a social media post celebrating the founder of Streams of Joy International and convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD).
Describing Eze as one of his “most amazing brothers,” Obi Cubana praised the pastor for his prayers and dedication to serving humanity.
“Today, I present you this house that will be ready by December as an appreciation for all you do,” he said.
The businessman explained that the property was intended as an appreciation for Eze’s contribution to the lives of people and to support his continued work.
In a video accompanying the announcement, Obi Cubana revealed that he had made a personal commitment earlier in the year to complete and give one of his properties to Eze as a birthday present.
According to him, the pastor had visited one of his properties in January, prompting him to make the commitment.
“Looking at these beautiful edifices, you were here in January, and I made a silent prayer to God that by our next birthday I should be able to finish and gift you one,” he said.
Although the building was still under construction, Obi Cubana said he was confident it would be completed soon and formally presented it as Eze’s birthday gift.
“But looking at it, we are still working, and hopefully it will be done soon. And I make it bold to say today I am presenting one to you as a birthday gift for the work of God and for the service of mankind,” he added.
Eze turned 44 on Saturday and is widely recognised for leading Streams of Joy International and hosting NSPPD, an online prayer programme that attracts a large audience.
The birthday celebration also drew goodwill messages from the pastor’s followers, friends and well-wishers across social media.
