Edo State governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, yesterday, fired the Director of Operations of the Edo Security Network (ESN), Mr. Oboh Emmanuel and appointed Mr. David Olukoga as his replacement.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Osarodion Ogie and made available to Journalists in Benin.
The governor who did not state why he was relieved of his position, said his disengagement takes immediate effect.
“The Edo State Governor, His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has
approved the immediate disengagement of Emmanuel Oboh, Director of
Operations of the Edo Security Network.
“The disengagement of Emmanuel
Oboh takes immediate effect.
“The governor has, in his stead, approved the appointment of Mr. David
Olukoga as the new Director of Operations, Edo Security Network.
He is to take over with immediate effect”, the statement said.
The former Director of the
Operations of ESN,Oboh has been directed to handover all government property in his
possession to the new Director of Operation
