Content creator and comedian, Isbae U’s ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ podcast may have landed its biggest guest yet in former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Launched in December 2023, ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ is a roast and satire show created and hosted by Isbae U which has grown to become one of Nigeria’s most-watched online interview shows.
Isbae U, whose real name is Ridwan Abidemi Adebayo, shared a video snippet of the podcast’s latest episode featuring the octogenerian on Saturday morning.

In the 24-second clip, Obasanjo can be seen sipping water while observing the host, who introduced him as Nigeria’s ex-president “who worked for me” between 1999 and 2007.
“You should have asked for permission before sipping water,” the content creator told the ex-president jocularly in his opening salvo.
Some of Nigeria’s biggest names that have featured on the podcast include veteran actors Pete Edochie, Jide Kosoko, Yemi Solade and Kate Henshaw, musician Odumodublvck and Bella Shmurda, Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface, comedians Bovi and Shank Comics, and controversial personalities Bobrisky, James Brown and Tacha.
