All roads led to Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Wednesday, December 20, as top government officials and high profile personalities joined the descendants of the late Chief C.A Adeosun to celebrate his 25th remembrance anniversary. 

The hosts included Nigeria’s first CFA holder, Wale Adeosun, Managing Director, Kuramo Capital; in-laws like former Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun and nephew, Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Wale Edun as well as other financial gurus. 

Speaking at the ceremony, former Nigerian President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, urged the family to continue remembering their patriarch, while the Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun said no one can talk about finance in Nigeria without mentioning the Adeosuns.

“The Adeosuns are synonymous with finance in Nigeria,” the governor stated.

Other notable guests included Chief (Mrs) Bola Obasanjo; Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Kunle Oluomo; Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi; Senator representing Ogun Central, Shuaib Afolabi Salisu; former Accountant General of Ogun State, Pastor Seye Senfuye; and former Vice Chancellor, Obafemi Awolowo University, Prof. Wale Omole.

Also at the occasion were former Managing Director, First Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Bisi Onasanya, Mr. Fatimilehin of Diya Fatimilehin, and Yemi Edun of Daniel Ford International.
