OAGF commissions Enugu, Plateau federal pay offices

The Office of the Accountant General of the Federation has commissioned the newly constructed Federal Pay Offices (FPOs) in Enugu, Enugu State and Jos, Plateau State. 

At the commissioning ceremony, the Acting Accountant General of the Federation, Mr. Sylva Okolieaboh, said the projects were part of the reforms designed to boost service delivery.

The Ag. AGF who was represented by the Director, Treasury of the Federation, Mr. Uzor Maduabuchi and Director, Legal Services, Mr. Haruna Isa Alabi in Enugu and Jos respectively urged staff to carry out their duties with heightened sense of responsibility in order to meet set goals.

Earlier, the Federal Pay Officer, Enugu, Mr. John Ugwu, in his welcome address, expressed delight that the staff of FPO, Enugu will now discharge their duties and responsibilities from a befitting permanent office. He noted that FPO Enugu was the first among the FPOs which was completed within one year. On the other hand, the Federal Pay Officer, Jos, Mrs Halima Shaladas stated that the new office complex would enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the staff of the Federal Pay Office, Jos.
