Old Seminarians Association of Nigeria (OSAN) have expressed sadness over the death of Supreme Court Justice, Centus Chima Nweze, remembering his remarkable contributions to Nigeria’s jurisprudence.
In a tribute, OSAN described Justice Nweze as an exemplary jurist, whose profound judgments have left an indelible mark on the country’s legal system.
The tribute jointly signed by OSAN’s Chinedu Akubeze and Public Relations Officer Johnbosco Agbakwuru, also highlights Nweze’s pivotal role as an esteemed founding member of the association, whose dedication immensely contributed to its swift growth.
OSAN tribute emphasised Nweze’s outstanding qualities of humility, composure and unwavering commitment to the cause, making a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of working with him.
His immense intellect, scholarly achievements and insightful guidance became invaluable resources for OSAN’s journey, the statement read.
OSAN extended its heartfelt condolences to Nweze’s wife, children, extended family, friends, and colleagues, urging them to find solace and resilience in the face of this profound loss.
OSAN said it acknowledged Nweze’s lasting legacy as a formidable force in enriching Nigeria’s jurisprudence through his seminal and resounding judgments.
It prayed God to grant his gentle soul rest in serene and eternal peace.
