A businessman and entrepreneur, Kennedy Nwankwo, has been honoured with the prestigious Humanitarian Services Diamond Award (HSD Award) for his contributions to humanity, national development and humanitarian services.
As the chairman of Bigly Oil and Gas Group, Nwankwo was recognised under the category of Humanitarian Achiever in Job Creation and Youth Empowerment.
The award organisers highlighted his many years of significant investment in human capital development, job creation in key sectors and empowering young Nigerians.
Through him, many beneficiaries have received start-up seed capitals and essential support to launch new businesses and expand existing ones.
The HSD Awards Committee praised Nwankwo for his exceptional track record in national development, societal upliftment and unwavering commitment to serving humanity, making him a deserving recipient of the 2024 award. Expressing his gratitude, Nwankwo shared his delight at being recognised with such a prestigious award.
He acknowledged the Humanitarian Services Diamond Award’s reputation for honouring individuals with notable contributions to society and a commitment to humanitarian services through charitable investments.
