NTSSOSA National Executives mark one year in office with scorecard of achievements

 

The Navy Town Secondary School Old Students’ Association (NTSSOSA) has marked its first year in office with a scorecard highlighting milestones of service, unity, and growth under the leadership of National President Ukhun Ehidiamen Anthony.

Since its inauguration on October 1, 2024, the National Executive has delivered several initiatives that directly benefited the school, alumni, and the wider NTSSOSA community.

Some of the notable achievements includes

 

School Support: Donation of Science Laboratory equipment (in partnership with the 2003 Set) and a Multimedia Public Address System to Navy Town Secondary School.

Digital Learning: Provision of WAEC eStudy Super School access and an internet modem to boost student preparation.

Alumni Empowerment: Launch of a vocational skills program, Job Board Portal, and alumni database with over 200 members registered.

Branch Growth: Establishment of UK and Port Harcourt–Bayelsa branches to strengthen NTSSOSA’s global presence.

Transparency: Hosting “Ask the Executives – Fact, Not Faction,” a live interactive session promoting accountability.

Community Engagement: Active participation in members’ personal events, from weddings to memorials, reinforcing unity.

Recognition: President Anthony’s election as General Secretary of the Navy Sailing Club at its 2025 AGM.

Reflecting on the achievements, President Anthony said:

This scorecard is not just about what the executives have done, but what we have achieved together as one body. These milestones belong to every member of NTSSOSA.”

Looking ahead, NTSSOSA plans to host its Annual General Meeting & End of Year Event, expand the empowerment program nationwide, strengthen ties with Navy Town Schools, and enhance member welfare and transparency.

With its guiding motto “One Crew, One Ship – Sailing to Success,” NTSSOSA reaffirms its mission to build a stronger alumni body that upholds the legacy of Navy Town Secondary School.
