The political party, National Rescue Movement (NRM), has called on a former presidential aspirant of Labour Party (LP), Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, to join the party ahead of the 2027 presidential election, saying Labour Party is losing political steam across the country.
The National Financial Secretary of NRM, Rev. Emmanuel Olorunmagba, made the call in a press statement on Monday, noting that “2027 is round the corner and this is the best time to align with a party like National Rescue Movement, whose major agenda is to rescue Nigeria from the sit-tight old generation politicians that have destroyed everything in Nigeria, turning the country into a nation that God highly endowed with everything, but the citizens lack everything.”
“I am therefore calling on the former presidential aspirant under the Labour Party, His Excellency Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, popularly known as Fadojoe, to join the NRM ahead of the 2027 presidential election as Labour Party is not getting its radar,” he said.
“Considering how His Excellency Fadojoe worked assiduously in building Labour Party with his team since he joined, yet he was denied the ticket when His Excellency Peter Obi later joined LP; now our political party, National Rescue Movement (NRM), will be a better platform for him for the actualisation of his political ambition,” Olorunmagba added.

“Nigerians so much need a younger presidential candidate with the vision to rescue Nigeria and a political platform with the vision to rescue the country.
“And with the confusion in the political atmosphere in Nigeria, where Nigerians are tired of APC, and PDP being an appendage of APC, which old politicians from the two parties are again thinking of a new party (ADA), just like they did ahead of the 2015 elections, where the same group of people came together to form APC to grab power without vision and pushed Nigeria into this deep gulf, and the country keeps sinking.
“In the light of the above, I call on His Excellency Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, popularly known as Fadojoe, to come on board our political party, NRM, in preparation for the 2027 general elections,” he concluded.
