Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has dissolved the board and coaching crew of Bayelsa United Football Club following the team’s disappointing performances, BSNSports.com.ng reportsSoccer

The decision was announced on Wednesday ahead of the State Executive Council meeting held in Yenagoa.

Governor Diri expressed dissatisfaction with the club’s recent results, stressing that the move was aimed at repositioning the Prosperity Boys for improved performances and future success.

According to the governor, an interim management committee will be constituted to oversee the affairs of the club.
