NPFL: Draw against 3SC ‘ll be turning point for Lobi Stars– Assistant coach

Draw against 3SC ‘ll be turning point

Lobi Stars assistant coach, Tar Akombo, believes their 2-2 draw against Shooting Stars will serve as a turning point for the team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Pride of Benue secured a hard-fought draw at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, on Wednesday night.

Reflecting on the result, Akombo emphasized the need to build on the performance against Gbenga Ogunbote’s side.

“I’m happy with the result. I thought we could take all three points, but we had to settle for a draw. Still, we are grateful, and I believe this will be a turning point for us,” he told the club’s media.

Lobi Stars will now shift their focus to their upcoming North Central derby against Niger Tornadoes next Wednesday.
