American rapper and songwriter Nayvadius DeMun Cash, better known as Future, has shared his biggest regret, saying he should have found a way to love the right way.

Future, in a recent interview that began trending Saturday on Hot 97, disclosed that he regrets not loving harder.

He revealed that he never saw his mother treated with genuine affection by a partner, and that she never received a flower from anyone.

According to Future, his present struggles with romance were shaped by what he thought was his understanding of relationships growing up.

“My biggest regret in life is I should have loved harder. I should have found a way to love the right way.

“I came from nothing, and I didn’t have a person or a male role model to show me how to treat a woman. I have never seen someone buy my mum a flower,” Future said.

Speaking further, the rapper added that his upbringing is not an excuse for his present mistakes.

Future, who has nine children from different women, further noted that he is committed to learning from past experiences and making better choices.
