The former 2019 APC Presidential aspirant, Chief Charles Udeogaranya has advised the Nigerian Federal Government to release Nnamdi Kanu from detention without unnecessary delay after the Court of Appeal verdict.
Udeogaranya said though; he does not support Kanu”s agitation but warns that not releasing Nnamdi Kanu by the Federal Government or resorting to legal round circling, rigmarolling and shadow chasing, will be tantamount to wholesome and drect admission of giving tacit support to insecurity and economic environment in the South-East region of Nigeria.
Udeogaranya also stressed that President Buhari would risk being seen in some quarters as Mr No integrity, having committed, before Ndigbo elder statesmen and the global village, to stand with the court ruling on the Kanu trial.
Udeogaranya praised the appellate court members for their courage and sound minds in upholding jurisprudence on the Kamu trial.
Udeogaranya also advised Nnamdi Kanu to jettison Biafra’s agitation after release and embrace the path of building a better Nigeria for the common good of all Nigerians and Africans in general.
He advised those in power today; that they may not be in control tomorrow and that injustice sowed today; may reap injustice tomorrow, as stated by the law of Karma; therefore, we all should endeavour to stand just and be guided that justice delayed amounts to justice denied.
