The Nigerian production company announced the development on its social media platforms, urging movie lovers to look out for the emotionally gripping revenge thriller.

Directed by Temitope Jude Egwu and co-directed by Wale Ilebiyi, Anu is scheduled to premiere in September as part of the festival’s lineup of films from Nigeria and other parts of the world.

Following its festival run, the film is expected to be released on selected streaming platforms.

The movie boasts an ensemble cast of established Nollywood actors, including the late Alwell Ademola, Peters Ijagbemi, Wale Ilebiyi, Sola Kosoko and Toyin Alausa.

It also provides a platform for a new generation of actors, featuring Joshua Jinad, Daniel Adeshina, Rita Okonne, Oyinlola Opeyemi, Bazok John Abidemi and Obinna D Gabriel, among others.

Speaking on his long-term vision for Bush Doctor Studios and its place in the Nigerian film industry, the company’s founder, Temitope Jude Egwu, said the goal is to create films that leave a lasting impression on audiences.

“The dream is to create art that captivates, thrills and entertains audiences for generations to come,” he said.
