Nollywood star, Lady Mina Horsfall has led her political family, D-37, the socio-political group representing the legacy of the late High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, to endorse the governorship ambition of Senator Dino Melaye of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Kogi State gubernatorial election holding next Saturday.
On November 4, 2023, D-37 through its representatives, Hon. Mina Horsfall, Engr. Peter Dokpesi and Hon. Edwin Adai presented a campaign support of N1 million to Senator Dino Melaye.
The gesture not only signifies the group’s unwavering believe in Melaye’s leadership and capacity, but also serves as a defining moment in the race to Lugard House.
The entertainment friendly Dino Melaye, a frontline contender in the Kogi State gubernatorial race, was visibly elated by the outpouring of support from D-37.
In his response, he expressed his profound gratitude to the late High Chief Raymond Dokpesi’s legacy and D-37 group. He acknowledged the vital role the group played in the progress of the PDP and massive support it gave the party’s presidential candidate throughout the period he was in court to reclaim his mandate.
Meanwhile, the D-37 group, comprised of family members, friends, and political associates of the EZOMO of Weppa Wanno Kingdom, the late High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, has declared to stand firmly with Senator Melaye, recognizing him as the candidate capable of delivering a brighter future for Kogi State
