The General Overseer of Divine Appointment Ministry, Ajah, Lagos State, Revrend Ben Eragbai, has said that contrary to the drums of war by political actors over the general election, there will be peace in the country.
What are your expectations, as Nigerians go to the polls?
God’s Will for this election will prevail and it will be very peaceful, contrary to the drums of war sounding everywhere. God has always been a Nigerian, He visits other nations, but He lives here because the things that have happened in this country, and we are still living together and marching forward, had happened in other nations and they went up in flames.
The elections are going to be peaceful; there shall be no sound of gun. The politicians are proposing, but God will always have His way. So, at the end of the day, the will of God shall prevail and there shall be peace, if not for anything but for the sake of the electorate. There will be no war; everything will be all right.
What message for Nigeria?
Everyone should go out there and cast his or her vote. Instead of complaining, this is the time to right the wrongs. How do we do that, it is through our PVCs? The impression that votes don’t count in Nigeria is erroneous; I have been talking to many people on the need to vote, and if I take the time to be under the sun or in the rain to vote, and somebody somewhere wants to manipulate it, that is where the prayers and the cries of the saints will manifest. That is why we here say, faith without work is dead, you cannot be praying for a good government or leadership and you would not go out to cast your vote. Let’s make a difference as Nigerians by using our PVCs to enthrone a good government.
You are organising a programme on February 8, what is all about?
We call it ‘War Against Satanic Manipulations’, most of these things we are still saying are satanic manipulations. Example, there are politicians in Nigeria who have good intentions, but when they get into offices, such intentions disappear; it is still part of satanic manipulation. Most human beings know what to do but they lack the will and ability to do it and after they have missed it, they begin to regret, it is still satanic manipulation. Most women packed out of their husbands houses for no just reason, and thereafter, they start regretting it, it is satanic manipulations. Most people, work like elephant and eat like ant; money comes to them and they can’t explain what they did with it, it is satanic manipulations. Some people will be in air conditioned room and they are sweating, take them to doctor and let them go for MRI test, nothing will be discovered; they seem to be okay but they are dying inside, that is satanic manipulation.
We have heard one of the aides to a former president told the country of the fetish things that go on in the corridors of power, that is why sometimes we pray for our leaders because the kind of things they see and the kind of people who visit them go to one alter or the other.
There was a case of a judge who did know the judgement to pass, he was looking at the accused and didn’t know what to do and he set him free, he didn’t know until people in the court screamed before he knew what he did was wrong. Someone somewhere had manipulated him.
Satanic manipulation is in all aspect of life, and of course, we have to pray for this nation. Nigeria is supposed to be a big brother Africa, but it seems as if satanic powers have taken over. So, we are going to the National Stadium, Surulere to see how we are going to play our parts by salvaging mankind.
What is the programme supposed to achieve?
We trust God for salvation, healing, deliverances, etc. Like a young man who happened to be an armed robber, after ministration, God told me that there was an armed robber here that I should tell him not go for the operation that he was going to die. I was in my office and a young man walked in and introduced himself as the armed robber. Through investigation I found out that he went to prison for a crime he didn’t commit, and when he was released, his family rejected him and he chose to hang around with the man he met inside Kirikiri prison, and he started staying with the man who was an armed robbery kingpin. This man sent him on operation. It was supposed to be his first operation and was standing outside the church when he heard my preaching through the speakers, and he walked into church, and that is how the Holy Ghost caught up with him. Today, he is a pastor, and that is an achievement. I have been able to remove somebody like that from terrorising people. We want to make sure that people are liberated.
Who and who are supposed to attend; people think this kind of programme is for the down trodden?
The rich also cry. Satanic manipulation doesn’t know boundaries. The higher you go, the higher you are exposed to more satanic manipulations. Immediately you go higher, you are going to meet other people with higher demons who want to subdue you.
