Beautiful Nigerian actress, filmmaker, and entrepreneur, Tana Adelana has spent more than two decades in the entertainment industry, building a career that has seen her move seamlessly between the small screen, film, and entrepreneurship.

In a recent interview on the Nollywood on Radio Podcast, she reflected on her career journey, revealing some of the roles she hopes to explore.

Speaking about the possibility of taking on new challenges as an actress, the light-skinned movie star said she is interested in starring in a full-fledged action film.

“I want to play an active action movie. I coined that myself. I’ve written a script to that effect, and hopefully, when the funds come in, I will be able to bring it to life,” she said.

According to her, “active action,” means a proper gun-wielding movie centred around a storyline such as armed robbery.

“I think I have pretty much done everything else that I wanted to do. I have played a stripper, a family woman, princess, ghetto and a lot more,” she added.

The actress also addressed questions about her youthful appearance, attributing her ageless look to a relatively simple lifestyle.

“I started my life quite early, and I am not that old. I started having kids at a really tender age. I rarely smoke or consume alcohol. I also drink a lot of water and mind my business. That helps a lot in keeping me younger. Don’t forget always to leave your home with your sunscreen,” she advised.

Reflecting on motherhood, Adelana said she does not regret having her children at a young age, despite occasionally wondering whether she should have waited longer before starting a family.

“I feel so elated seeing my kids all grown. They are young adults now, so we practically grew up together,” she said.

The actress admitted that there were moments when she felt she could have delayed motherhood to accomplish other personal goals first.

“At some point, I told myself that I would have waited a little longer and gotten some other things done before having them. But seeing them now, I feel so fulfilled. If God grants me long life, I will be part of their lives for a very long time. I love it! My son is taller than me now, and I am so happy,” she said.
