Nnamdi Kanu supporting Soludo to end Mondays sit-at-home in Anambra, says APGA chieftain

Soludo-3

Governor Chukwuma Soludo

From Aloysius Attah, Onitsha

National Coordinator, All Progressives Grand Alliance Media Warriors Forum , Evang. Chinedu Obigwe has disclosed that the incarcerated leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra ( IPOB) is fully behind Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s efforts to end the protracted Mondays Sit-at-Home in Anambra.

Obigwe in a statement on Tuesday, on the heels of the total shutdown of Onitsha Main Market , on the order of the governor for failure of the traders to resume businesses on Monday, said those supporting Mondays sit at home are the actual enemies of Ndi Anambra and Igbo at large.

The APGA media chief said Governor Soludo must be commended for taking bold steps to end the Monday’s sit at home which he said has dealt heavy blow to the economy of southeast states.

He said the question begging for answers is why the sit at home must continue in Anambra while the order is not being obeyed in Imo, Ebonyi, Enugu and Abia .

“As a matter of fact Mazi Nnamdi Kanu stated in a widely circulated press release that he is not in support of the Monday’s sit at home and advised our people to put an end to it. The people claiming that they are doing it as a civil disobedience measures to protest the detention of Nnamdi Kanu are deceiving themselves. They are using Nnamdi Kanu condition to perpetrate criminality and cripple the Igbo economy.

“As for those saying that Governor Soludo should fight for Nnamdi Kanu release from detention instead of fighting to end the Monday’s sit at home, they are being economical with the truth because Governor Soludo is the first Governor Igbo land to call for the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu”.

Obigwe recalled that when Soludo came in as Anambra Governor, he paid Nnamdi Kanu a visit at DSS detention facility and had frank discussion with him.

“Till date, Soludo is among the vocal voice calling for Nnamdi Kanu release. The truth remains that Nnamdi Kanu is 100 percent in support of Governor Soludo efforts to end the Monday sit at home. All that is expected from Anambra people and those resident in the State is to support Governor Soludo efforts to end the Monday sit at home because it is for the good of our State.

“Governor Soludo is doing marvelously well in our State and we must support his policies to enable him do more for us. Say no to Monday’s sit at home to revive our State economy” Obigwe stated.
