The South South Regional Coordinator of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, Mr George Ene-Ita, has paid a courtesy visit on the newly inaugurated Executive Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Otu in his office in Calabar.
The visit was to re-assure the Governor of the preparedness of the regulatory authority to partner the Government of Cross River in ensuring that petroleum products are evenly and seamlessly distributed across the state.
The South South Regional Coordinator also affirmed that the Authority would guarantee that sharp practices by marketers and dealers, such as product diversion, adulteration, under-dispensing and cross-border smuggling would be checked and eliminated.
