Nigeria’s Zannu wins first-ever arm wrestling gold

Team Nigeria Elizabeth Mausi Zannu made history at the African Games, becoming the first-ever athlete to win a medal in the Arm Wrestling event, BSNSports.com.ng has sourced from Making of Champions.

The 13th African Games in Accra, Ghana was the first time that the Arm Wrestling would be a scoring event.

Zannu became the first athlete to land a medal, winning gold for Nigeria in the women’s 55kg, defeating Ghana’s Racheal Lankai.

Meanwhile, there will gold rush for Team Nigeria in Accra once its athletics team hits the tracks.
