Nigerians urged to vote for competent leaders

From Okwe Obi, Abuja

Ahead of the forthcoming general polls, National Vice President, Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), Florence Agogo, has tasked young Nigerians to collectively decide the future of Nigeria by voting in competent and visionary leaders.

Agogo made the call Wednesday during a Permanent Voter Card (PVC) Sensitisation Outreach she organised for young people across Nigeria through her office.

She explained that the project is borne out of the need to promote popular participation in the electoral process and the task of nation-building.

According to her, noted the Permanent Voters Card is the major weapon with which the people can fight the crumbling system by voting and ushering in good governance in the country.

She called on young people to build on their strengths, population, and wit to decide the future of the country while also stressing that this can only become a reality when they get their permanent voter cards and vote during elections.

She reminded them that their vote is their power and right to have a say in governance.
