Youthful serial entrepreneur, business coach and internet personality, Charles Kelechi Anyanwu has called on Nigerian youth engaged in any form of fraudulent activities to have a rethink and redirect their energy toward legitimate opportunities.
Anyanwu, the CEO of 7figureboss who is basking on the euphoria of being awarded the highly coveted Gold Play Button by YouTube in recognition of his exceptional achievement of reaching 1 million subscribers within two years, said he envisions a future where individuals can achieve financial success without resorting to illicit means.
While reiterating the life-changing potentials of YouTube , Charles revealed that he has emerged as a prominent figure in the YouTube community as he has in an unprecedented feat, not only amassed a significant subscriber base but has also leveraged his success to advocate for the potential life-changing opportunities that YouTube presents, particularly for the Nigerian youth.
He encouraged aspiring content creators to shift their focus from platforms like Instagram and TikTok to YouTube, highlighting the substantial financial rewards offered by
YouTube compared to other social media channels.
He emphasised that starting a YouTube channel requires no initial capital and can be done with a mobile phone.
He believes that starting a channel can alter the course of an entire generation’s lives in a very short time.
Charles urged the Nigerian youth to explore YouTube as a legitimate avenue for income generation, citing his own experience of achieving a remarkable milestone of 1million subscribers on his second channel within two years.
Notably, he achieved this without revealing his face in the videos and by outsourcing content creation.
The entrepreneur, who owns a total of 12 channels and manages 16 channels, recently established a channel dedicated to teaching digital skills and how to make money online from the comfort of their home.
The channel the reporter learnt , monetized in just 59 days, and in just three months Charles had started earning around $1500 per month from Ads revenue alone, excluding brand deals, affiliate sales, etc.
In addition to promoting YouTube, Charles shared insights into his other ventures. While acknowledging that forex trading promises great profit , he cautions that it is not a recommendation for everyone, especially those still struggling with their finances, due to the large capital requirements and associated risks. Instead, he advocates for YouTube as a risk-free alternative, emphasising that opening a channel is free, and creators can startearning in dollars from the comfort of their homes using their mobile phones.
Charles emphatically states that he derives no personal benefit from encouraging others to start a YouTube channel. He emphasises that those who know him over the years can attest to his commitment to teaching these strategies free of charge. He does not offer courses as most people would or use his advocacy for personal gain. His motivation stems from his humble beginnings, and he firmly believes that if he can achieve success despite his background, anyone can.
Addressing concerns of shyness as a barrier to entry, Charles encourages individuals to consider starting faceless channels, highlighting that 11 of his own channels are all faceless
YouTube Channels and they are all monetized. Alternatively, he suggests exploring blogging as a viable option, noting that both mediums are similar and sometimes his blog accounts pays him more than his youtube Channel.
