The Nigerian Marketing Awards (NMA) has announced its fifth edition, scheduled to hold on November 21, 2026, in Lagos.

This year’s edition carries the theme: “Reimagine Marketing,” challenging industry practitioners to rethink established conventions and embrace new possibilities across 31 competitive categories. Premium brand Amstel Malta has also signed on as the official headline sponsor for the 2026 event.

Submissions for the 2026 awards open on August 15, 2026, and close on September 22, 2026.

Reflecting on the milestone, Tony Agenmonmen, Founder of the Nigerian Marketing Awards, noted:

“The fifth edition is more than an anniversary; it is a defining moment in our journey. Through the theme ‘Reimagine Marketing’, we are calling on the industry to move beyond familiar approaches and reconsider what marketing can achieve for businesses, consumers, communities, and the nation.”

Since its launch in 2022, the NMA has established itself as a national benchmark for industry excellence. It operates under an independent judging process managed by the Awards Decision Council and holds the Trust Mark of the UK-based Independent Awards Standards Council. The platform is endorsed by key industry bodies, including ARCON, NIMN, AAAN, EXMAN, OAAN, and NIPR.
