Football stakeholders from all across the country, has applauded Laliga following its recent event tagged, LaLiga Next Gen Draft Football Project.
The stakeholders who on Friday, 30th of January, were present in Lagos for the Laliga Talk and Tapas, gave kudos to Laliga for planning big with EA Sports, Legacy Sports, FC Futures and the country’s third tie league, NLO.
Speaking about the significance of the event, Coordinator, Carlos Casal, hinted Laliga has come to stay while urging stakeholders from all walks of life to tap into the benefit Laliga is bringing fought to Nigeria.
Having stated that, he emphasized more project are in offings to ensure more football scouting program is witnessed in Nigeria.

Speaking further, he hinted LALIGA EA Sports scouts, will rigorously assess players based on their technical proficiency, vision, attitude, and overall performance, stating the second phase, FC FUTURES Academy Training, will grant these chosen players access to tailored coaching from UEFA PRO-licensed coaches affiliated with LALIGA.
Reacting to this, Special Assistant on Sports to Abia Governor, Raymond Ukwa and Chief Green Amakwe, Special Adviser to the Governor on Investment Promotions, hailed the initiative while tagging it an eye opener for all.
Speaking after the forum, Mr. Ukwa described the engagement as timely and strategic. He highlighted key conversations around grassroots talent development, infrastructure planning, data based decision making, and the creation of sustainable sports ecosystems.
“LaLiga represents more than football. The Spanish league exemplifies strong institutional structure, effective governance, innovation driven planning, and long term sustainability.
These principles align closely with Abia State’s vision of building a modern sports sector that delivers economic value and global relevance,” he stated.
