The Nigerian Ambassador-Designate to the State of Israel, Nkechi Linda Ufochukwu, has arrived at the Nigerian Mission in Tel Aviv.
Ufochukwu’s arrival is part of the ongoing deployment of Nigeria’s new batch of envoys, following the receipt of agrément from the host government.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 65 of the 69 ambassadors-designate approved by President Bola Tinubu have so far secured agrément from their host countries and proceeded to their respective missions after completing the induction programme.
Ufochukwu’s assumption of duty is expected to further strengthen the longstanding diplomatic, economic and cultural ties between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the State of Israel.
