• Says a more United Nigeria is possible
Imo State governor, and National Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Hope Uzodimma, has asserted that Nigeria would win the war against insurgency, noting that the economic reforms introduced by President Tinubu had begun to yield results.
“Nigeria was like a barren woman looking for a child before President Bola Tinubu came. He introduced the fertility drugs needed. Yes they came with pains of childbirth but we are seeing results. We are not after excuses. We are interested in results.”
Uzodimma spoke at the South West Zone APC Stakeholders meeting in Lagos. He spoke also on the heels of the two-day meeting of the Progressive Governors Forum which also held in Lagos.
Governor Hope Uzodimma, on behalf of the Progressive Governors Forum, thanked Nigerians for their sacrifices. “We thank you for your resilience in admitting the difficulties from the reforms. A more united and prosperous Nigeria is what we need,” he said.

On the issue of the recent waves of kidnappings and terrorist attacks, he declared that Nigeria will win. “God made Tinubu possible. Of late we have seen the level of insecurity and banditry increase. Who are the people funding these criminalities? Progressive governors are united. Nigeria must win.”
He announced that the creation of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors at the four levels of zonal, state, local government and wards will ensure that we have 1,000 active businesses in every ward in Nigeria thus linking President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Ward Development Programme (RHEDP) with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors mandate.
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, it was gathered, will drive the Renewed Hope Ward Development Programme from the polling units to the wards, local governments, states and zones in a bottom-up manner.
