Nigeria vs South Africa: Eno procures match ticket for fans

Akwa Ibom state governor pastor Umo Eno has bought tickets for all fans to watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification match to be played at Godswill Akpabio International stadium ,Uyo today .

The match is billed for played between Bafana Bafana of South Africa and Super Eagles of Nigeria.

In a statement issued in Uyo on Friday by the Commissioner for Youths and Sports ,Sir Monday Ebong Uko announced that the state governor pastor Umo Eno has paid for tickets to cover all indigene and residents in the state to watch and cheer up the Super Eagles of Nigeria to victory .

The statement reads in parts :
“His Excellency, the people-centric Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Pastor Umo Eno, has graciously procured all match tickets for the highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Bafana Bafana of South Africa, for free distribution to all Akwa Ibom indigenes and residents nay all football enthusiasts across the country.

“Governor Umo Eno, a frontline supporter of the Super Eagles, therefore urges the people to come out in vast numbers to cheer the Super Eagles to victory, while also appealing for orderly conduct and a showcase of the renowned hospitality of Akwa Ibom people to our visitors.”

He therefore wished the Super Eagles a resounding victory and looks forward to a thrilling match.

Meanwhile the South African team Bafana Bafana and Super Eagles have arrived Uyo yesterday with line up of activities in preparation for the match

This include Media accreditation for the Nigeria-South Africa fixture available for collection at the stadium and Pre-match press conference (Nigeria) by 5:30 while Super Eagles training will commenced by 6:30 pm respectively .
