Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has openly admitted guilt and apologised for his late-game red card in Nigeria’s 2-2 friendly tie with Jordan on March 31.
Iwobi reacted angrily after being pulled back by Jordan’s Amer Jamous during the clash in Turkey.
Reflecting on the situation, the former Arsenal player admitted to his slip of judgment, calling his actions unacceptable.

“I need to address what I did and apologise to all my Nigerian teammates, staff, and everyone who cares about Nigeria.
“My actions were not good enough, and I got sent off,” Iwobi stated on the Alexander Yaa Digg podcast.
“But I will learn from this and keep moving on. We got a draw, we did not lose, so we will take the positives.
