The petroleum ministry, alongside key regional stakeholders and regulators, is set to champion the adoption of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as pivotal clean energy alternatives at the upcoming CNG Africa & LPG Expo Nigeria 2025. The event, scheduled for March 3-4, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Center, Victoria Island, Lagos, is poised to be West Africa’s largest clean energy gathering, attracting over 3,000 industry professionals, 100+ exhibitors, and senior decision-makers.

The Minister of State, GAS Resources, Ekperikpe Ekpo, will grace the event as the Guest of Honour, underscoring the government’s commitment to driving innovation and investment in LPG and CNG. His presence highlights the nation’s proactive approach to energy transition, aiming to establish a benchmark for the entire region.

Adding to the event’s significance, Mr. Abiodun Ogunleye, Commissioner for Energy, Lagos State Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources, will deliver a welcome speech, emphasizing Lagos State’s vital role in fostering sustainable energy development.

The CNG Africa & LPG Expo 2025 will serve as a premier platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and investors to engage in critical discussions and explore cutting-edge innovations in the clean energy sector. Key highlights of the event include: LPG and CNG Innovations: Showcasing the latest advancements in technology, infrastructure, and distribution solutions.

Nigeria’s Presidential CNG Initiative (Pi-CNG): Providing insights into Nigeria’s ambitious plan to transition one million vehicles to natural gas by 2026.
