A Non Governmental Organisation, Peace and Security in Nigeria Summit in collaboration with African Views Organization and Council of Traditional Leaders of Africa (COTLA-AU Ethiopia-Addis Ababa) and Freedom Park Lagos has rescheduled the five-day Peace and Security in Nigeria conference scheduled for Freedom Park in Lagos beginning from November 7 to November 11, 2022 in observance of the United Nations’ Nelson Mandela Day.
The organisers said the opening ceremony would take place at Freedom Park Lagos with prayer for the nation, while the following day, there will be Symbolic Truth and Reconciliation: Akintola and Awolowo.
It said on November 9, there would be an Economic Integration and Free Trade in the African World seminar and on November 10, a conference on Organisation of “The African Royal Kingdoms” (The ARK) will take place. And on the last day of the conference, there would be Harmonizing Nigerian Heritage and Cultural Identities, intended to celebrate Nigeria’s cultural diversity and launch AV Network Nigeria respectively.
“The revised programme was agreed by a majority vote of the steering committee in order to ensure government participation and the inclusion of crucial stakeholders.”
