Nigeria have qualified for the 2026 African Nations Championship after extending their unbeaten run at the Zone 3 qualifiers in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Nigerian team booked their place at the continental championship, which will be held in the Democratic Republic of Congo in September, with a 3-1 comeback victory over Benin Republic on Friday, July 17.
Nigeria recovered from losing the opening set 21-25 to win the next three sets 25-21, 25-15, and 25-20, securing another impressive victory in the tournament.
