Adejobi said, “The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) wishes to inform all stakeholders, partners, and the general public that the launch of the Nigeria Police Green Initiative (NPGI), originally scheduled for Tuesday, July 9, 2024, has been postponed. A new date for the launch will be communicated in due course.
“The NPF appreciates your understanding and continued support as we finalize preparations for this significant event, while we regret any inconvenience this postponement may cause.
“Thank you for your cooperation.”
In an earlier statement, Adejobi said the NPGI aims to integrate green innovative solutions into policing operations, thereby supporting the renewed hope and economic reformation plan of President Bola Tinubu.
He added that it would bolster efforts to fight crime, maintain law and order, and accord significant corporate social responsibilities to Nigerians to solidify the cooperation between the police and communities.
