The Supreme Head, Cherubim & Seraphim Unification of worldwide, Prophet Dr Solomon Alao (Baba Olori), has called on government at levels to look inward in order to address the issue of insecurity ravaging the country.

Alao, worried by the state of security and economy of the country, made the call at a press conference to intimate the general public on the forthcoming annual general conference of the church holden from Thursday, January 25 to Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Ugbo-Nla, Ondo State.

He said government needs change of approach to tame menace of insecurity across the country, and also to assign roles to traditional institutions and religious leaders due their direct contact with citizens.

Alao lamented that despite the improved funding of armed forces, the security situation of the country has seemingly becoming a night mare.

to hold the view that all will be well shortly with the change of political leadership in May 2023.

Alao said what was handed over to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a battered economy and Nigerians should not expect miracle within short period.

“It is therefore on the forgone statements that it is not sensible to expect an immediate better tomorrow but an immediate more difficult tomorrow rather than being made to believe in the contrary”, he said.

On current move by the Federal Government to relocate some agencies back to Lagos and others, the C &S leader said the idea is a welcome development which every stakeholders should support in order to reposition the country’s economy for effective management.
