Akwa Ibom State Government has described UUkpai’s death as a colossal loss to the entire christendom and the people of the state.
The State Commissioner for Information, Aniekan Umanah while reacting to the incident said Ukpai was a great man who impacted lives of people and government of the state.
“It is very unfortunate from what we have heard. Although we have not heard from the family, I have seen from social media that he is dead.
“He was a great man. Nigeria has lost a religious icon. It is a colossal loss to the entire Nigeria and the people of Akwa Ibom State.”
Umanah said an official message from the state governor, Pastor Umo Eno said late Ukpai had made a significant impact in the state.
