In preparations for the commencement of its Abuja to Accra operations from November 10, 2025, United Nigeria Airlines hosted a forum with its partners to strengthen collaboration with travel agents.
At the meeting, UNA’s Head of Business Development and Strategy, Ifeoma Ekwerike, said that the Nigeria-Ghana route serves over 240,000 passengers annually, making it one of West Africa’s most active air corridors.
The event, which held this week in Lagos, brought together leading travel agents from across Nigeria as UNA expanded its operations with the purchase of two Airbus A320-200 and a CRJ-900 to serve the current 14 destinations nationwide.
While speaking, Ekwerike emphasized the strategic importance of Accra in United Nigeria Airlines expansion plan, stating that “United Nigeria Airlines is entering the Accra market with reliable schedules, on-time flights, competitive fares, modern aircraft, and attractive incentives for our agents. From November 10, we will operate daily direct non-stop flights from Abuja to Accra and four weekly flights from Lagos to Accra.”
