National Chairman of Labour Party (LP) Cómrade Julius Àbure has slammed the President Bola Tinubu-led government as destroying the country in all sectors, urging opposition parties and the Nigerian masses to challenge the the bad governance in action.
Àbure làmented further that all the indices of development points to the reality that the country is retrogressing as the hardship of hunger, íñseçurity, economic destruction and political jobbers take its toll on innocent citizens.
Àbure spoke in Lagos yesterday, during a chat with journalists including Daily Sun.
“” It is not capturing power that matters but what you do with power. It is not winning the election but what you do with the victory, how you transform lives and the peoples welfare.
” if you capture power and you cannot use it to address security challenge, the people are still being killed, you cannot use it to address infrastructure, you cannot use it to make the economy work, then of what use are you in office?
“” In all ramifications, the Tinubu-led APC government is a failure and Nigerian masses have never had it as bad as this” Àbure noted.
According to Àbure ” At present, Nigerians are begging for food. Is it not a shame that Ukraine that is at war is sending us grains and all that.
“Nigeria has all it takes to build a great nation but, sadly this APC govt is presently taking us backward.
“Nigerians must unite to chase away this oligarchy in power'”.
Àbure said LP is the only Party that can restore hope and change the political trajectory of the country to the benefit and joy of all.
He challenged followership not to continue to be docile or to succumb to be part of those endorsing bad leadership due to temporary gratification.
Said Àbure”” As a people we need to reorient ourselves. There this challenge of followership, where the people know who are their problem but still go along to hail them, glamorise and sing their praises”
Àbure asked Nigerians not to lose hope, as LP would not fail the people as the party is poised to win the next Géñéràl election in 2027.
Àbure said despite the moles planted in the LP, its leadership will not be distracted, saying that “”LP is a solution provider that will tàckle the Nigerian condition and put things aright’
