Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has congratulated a former Member of the House of Representatives, Robinson Uwak, on his birthday, saying that he was a dependable ally during their days in the 7th Assembly.
Hon. Robinson Uwak who is an ally to the Governor at the 7th Assembly represented Oron/Mbo/Okobo/Ure-Offong/Oruko Udung-Uka Federal Constituency of Akwa Ibom State.
The Governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary Bologi Ibrahim in Minna, described the former lawmaker as a true friend and a dependable Ally with exceptional quality.
He said the former lawmaker was among the best brains that were making the best contributions in the 7th Assembly, adding that his meaningful representation has endeared him to the people of his constituency and the State.
The Governor recalled the critical and central roles his former colleague played when he contested for speakership in 2019, saying that “he was solidly behind my ambition to become the Speaker of the house of Representatives”
He said the former lawmaker and himself shared a common vision for a better society, and this has contributed immensely in strengthening their relationship, stressing that the bond of friendship that they forged remains unbreakable
The Governor, while congratulating the celebrant on his birthday, prayed that God will grant him more years, success good health, wisdom and limitless blessings to continue to serve humanity even better.
