Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has expressed profound grief over the deaths of Nihinloluwa Agoro and her children, Temiloluwa and Isaac, in a devastating road accident in Fort Bend County, Texas, USA.

The incident occurred on Sunday, March 15, 2026, as the family travelled to church, according to news reports.

In a statement issued by NiDCOM’s Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Dabiri-Erewa described the loss as “heartbreaking for any family, especially during what should have been an ordinary journey.”

She extended her deepest sympathy to the Agoro family, praying for the repose of the deceased and comfort for those grieving family members. Dabiri-Erewa also wished a speedy recovery to anyone injured in the crash.

The NiDCOM chief urged road caution to avert such tragedies, reaffirming solidarity with the Nigerian community in Texas and across the US.
